Natural Alternative to Botox: Naturalis Mask

After I turned 30, I have been testing every possible anti-aging treatment under the sun that’s organic, natural and free of animal-derived ingredients. Sadly, nothing matched the results of a light chemical peel… until I tested the Naturalis EASY MASK. The affect was instantaneous and reduced fine lines and illuminated my skin unlike anything I had ever tried. Check out my video below to learn more about this Italian Ecocert-certified organic mask and how to use it for magical results.

if you get as excited about it as I am, we have an exclusive introductory MISSQA discount for the holidays only! See the offer below and treat yourself to look and feel your best; the single mask makes an amazing gift as well. If you have tried the mask already, let me know what you think!

THE FIND: Red Big Buddha Bag

Have you discovered your IT bag for fall yet? I keep seeing this Big Buddha ad in my October fashion magazines that have just dropped in my mailbox and I still really love the red (this one is $90). It’s very much a statement bag and looks amazing with a neutral colored wardrobe or black, brown and navy. See how we styled red bag here and here!

STYLE: Eileen Fisher Eco Sweaters

The last two years I lived in Finland (until I was 19), I used to shiver in wintertime repeating a mantra: “I’ll soon live in Los Angeles, I will soon live in sunshine!” –I had decided not to invest in warm clothes anymore.

Even now that I have made New York my home instead of Los Angeles (where I did live for six years), I still tend to skip on proper fall and winter wear.  It is especially challenging when you want to find stylish eco-friendly and vegan pieces to keep you warm. Enter Eileen Fisher! Who would have thought the coolest eco and vegan sweater of the season is indeed to be found there. This sweet fair trade organic cotton crimp sweater is $278. Who wants to go shopping?

THE FIND: BOTTEGA VENETA VEGAN HANDBAG

What did you think of the Puerto Rico vacation videos? I would love to hear!

Back to business, it’s time to find the IT-bag for fall. As my signature bag, I have been carrying a stunning black Stella McCartney tote for the last several seasons during which I have also acquired a collection of Matt & Nat purses and clutches. Thinking of a smaller signature bag for this season, I’m head over heels with this first-ever vegan and eco-friendly Bottega Veneta. The bag will be available in November (a few hit the stores during Fashion’s Night Out), so there’s a bit of time to save up!

STYLE: MONOCHROMATIC PURPLE
We think monochromatic bright colors are the new black for fall! When the days get shorter, a major pop of color in your outfit is a guaranteed mood booster. To keep the style office-friendly, I paired a purple/lavender blouse and pencil skirt with dark purple pumps. What do you think of this look?
:: Carrie Perry Eco-Friendly Blouse (soon available) ::  Doucette Duvall Recycled Fabric Pencil Skirt (old, via Gilt) :: Vegan Shoes by Cri De Coeur (last season; blue/dark purple ankle boots here)::

STYLE: MULTI-WEAR WRAP DRESS IN PUERTO RICO

New York Fashion Week is what everyone is talking about here, but I can’t get my mind of the turquoise ocean and salty pools, so I must go against the grain and present you some exciting resort options instead of Spring 2013 (that’s coming soon:-)

Many designers are heading for a vacation right after the shows. If you are too, pack a multi-wear wrap dress that also works as a skirt, shawl, vest or kimono top. When I discovered this Angelrox piece, it was (really) like magic and solved all of my style issues on the road: it goes with anything, it can be styled for any occasion, it’s comfortable, sexy, stylish and chic. This is made of Rayon (biodegradable cellulose fiber made from trees) and there are also versions made of bamboo stretch jersey. Of course, I immediately got some for the MISSQA shop and you can check out the different color options here:-)

Where would you love to travel next? Our next trip is to that eco resort in Nicaragua!
