STYLE: MULTI-WEAR WRAP DRESS IN PUERTO RICO
New York Fashion Week is what everyone is talking about here, but I can’t get my mind of the turquoise ocean and salty pools, so I must go against the grain and present you some exciting resort options instead of Spring 2013 (that’s coming soon:-)
Many designers are heading for a vacation right after the shows. If you are too, pack a multi-wear wrap dress that also works as a skirt, shawl, vest or kimono top. When I discovered this Angelrox piece, it was (really) like magic and solved all of my style issues on the road: it goes with anything, it can be styled for any occasion, it’s comfortable, sexy, stylish and chic. This is made of Rayon (biodegradable cellulose fiber made from trees) and there are also versions made of bamboo stretch jersey. Of course, I immediately got some for the MISSQA shop and you can check out the different color options here:-)
Where would you love to travel next? Our next trip is to that eco resort in Nicaragua!

STYLE: LONG TANK TOP & WIDE BRIM HAT FOR PUERTO RICO
My husband and I had planned a trip to an eco resort in Nicaragua for this past Labor Day past weekend, but the night before my DH (dear husband) could not find his passport. At 3am we gave up looking and decided to book a last minute trip to Puerto Rico instead, where you can travel with an American driver’s license. Luckily, our Nicaraguan resort allowed us to postpone the trip without penalty, so we are going there next month!
While I snoozed for a few hours, DH found an amazing boutique hotel, The Horned Dorset Primavera Hotel, on the shores of Rincon, managed to get us on an 8am flight to San Juan and rent a car for the two and a half hour drive to the other side of the island.
As soon as we landed, I changed into an Angelrox eco-friendly the dye tank dress (also ideal for layering in the fall), put on a fair-trade Pachacuti wide brim hat I recently discovered on sale at Club Monaco, and slipped on the vegan Beyond Skin metallic sandals. When we headed to the terrace bar for sunset mojitos, I carried all my essentials in the ikat print eco Matt & Nat clutch: organic Intelligent Nutrients mosquito repellent, all-natural Hourglass lipgloss, and Forever Living aloe vera lip balm and a mini notebook for ideas on all the up and coming travel posts I’m really excited to share!

TRAVEL: Family Garden Party
A summer garden party in Finland means lake view, lots of coffee, homemade “korvapuusti,” and fresh strawberries. In honor of Annabella’s American husband’s very first visit to Finland, I hosted a family garden party for the couple and his parents and invited all of our siblings (there’s four of us) and their families. We began the evening with a vegan barbecue feast which I prepared with my husband, paired with biodynamic Austrian wine and followed deserts baked by our sister Miranda.
Summer entertaining is one of my favorite things to do: even a casual party looks fun and fancy when you serve meals on colorful dishes with bold-colored napkins, set the table up with fresh flowers or bowls of fresh berries, and wear floral prints (both Annabella and I ended up wearing brown for this one, but we recommend going brighter)!
Did you know you can leave a photo reply? We would love to hear about your entertaining tips!

STYLE: One Dress Many Ways
We are both loving versatile dresses for summer. This way you can have a paired-down wardrobe that’s perfect for travel and still look ravishing. This Camilla Mikama piece can go from a sophisticated midi to a sexy drapey mini in a minute. The multiple snap buttons clip on the inside for subtle, unexpected transformations: think office to date night! To keep the dress simply stunning, I only accessorized it silver pendant earrings and a just-cut messy long bob.
PS. I wore this eco piece for a hosting gig and loved it so much, I got a red one for Viola (see it tomorrow) and instantly also ordered it for missqa.com. We’ll have it soon.
