STYLE: STATEMENT RINGS

Bold necklaces are a major trend for fall, but I think bold rings are an even easier way to make a style statement: they go with almost any outfit from casual to fancy! These animal and nature inspired hand jewels by October Anniversary are made in New York out of recycled metals. The Warrior Panther will compliment to my rugged denim shorts and a tee as I go for a countryside movie with my hubby tonight (see our Fashiolista list for “Countryside Date Outfit below). Do you prefer necklaces, bracelets or rings when you want to add that extra oomph to your outfit? Let us know!

THE FIND: SORACE/D RINGS

Sorace/d rings are stunning in their simplicity. The only rings I currently wear are my engagement ring and wedding band: I haven’t found a perfect compliment until I saw these with the silver and golden hearts. The wings-ring will, on the other hand, be a conversation starter; perfect for the up and coming fashion week events! All are made of 100% recycled materials in New York City.

STYLE: Long-Sleeve Jersey Dress

I love taking photos of stylish eco-friendly dresses in nature: even if I wouldn’t ever really wear this outfit in a country house in Vermont (I opted for gray khakis, blue-and-white striped sweater and Toms), it highlights the fact that every time we choose something gorgeous that’s produced respecting the world around us, we make change happen.

This chic and ultra-comfortable long-sleeve pencil dress was custom-made by Goodone from recycled organic cotton jerseys and sewn according to my preferences: just-above-the-knee hem length and tight sleeves. I like pairing it with this blue skinny faux-leather belt from ASOS and Cri de Coeur blue velvet pumps. It also looks great with a 2-inch-wide black satin belt and black Mary-Janes. This dress has been garnering compliments everywhere I go.

I have loved it so much that I immediately called the designer to set up a collaboration with MISSQA. Stay tuned for a selection of stunning Goodone made-to-order dresses and tops!
