After I turned 30, I have been testing every possible anti-aging treatment under the sun that’s organic, natural and free of animal-derived ingredients. Sadly, nothing matched the results of a light chemical peel… until I tested the Naturalis EASY MASK. The affect was instantaneous and reduced fine lines and illuminated my skin unlike anything I had ever tried. Check out my video below to learn more about this Italian Ecocert-certified organic mask and how to use it for magical results.
if you get as excited about it as I am, we have an exclusive introductory MISSQA discount for the holidays only! See the offer below and treat yourself to look and feel your best; the single mask makes an amazing gift as well. If you have tried the mask already, let me know what you think!
In this video, I review bronzers, blush, lipgloss and eyeliner by Hourglass, Tarte, Korres and Dr Hauschka. Hope you enjoy these tips and let me know if you have favorites! Thank you for watching and hugs for subscribing:-)
STYLE: ORGANIC BY JOHN PATRICK S/S 13 AT NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
Oh, the little white dress! I wish I could extend the summer so I could keep slipping into chic LWDs, possibly my favorite summer outfit ever. Scroll through our Fashiolista set to see our favorites by John Patrick: the most wearable pieces for busy ladies who want to look sophisticated, subtly sexy and stylish from morning to night.
Happy Sunday! Today I’m wearing this outfit for Sunday brunch. Mixing colorful snakeskin accessories with bright dresses is another fun way to wear animal prints and still look sophisticated (don’t try this with leopard print!). The Heather Belle faux snakeskin clutch is truly unique, as no other designer has been able to replicate the look and feel of snakeskin like she has: the bag is very luxe. My sandals are made of golden faux snakeskin, so the whole look is slightly bold but still chic and put together.
PS. The Heather Belle bags come in a variety of bright colors and we now have them at MISSQA! I got the blue as it’s my absolute favorite color and I can wear it with anything. We would love to see how you style vegan animal prints and skins- post a picture response below with a link to your blog if you have one or leave a comment!
A summer garden party in Finland means lake view, lots of coffee, homemade “korvapuusti,” and fresh strawberries. In honor of Annabella’s American husband’s very first visit to Finland, I hosted a family garden party for the couple and his parents and invited all of our siblings (there’s four of us) and their families. We began the evening with a vegan barbecue feast which I prepared with my husband, paired with biodynamic Austrian wine and followed deserts baked by our sister Miranda.
Summer entertaining is one of my favorite things to do: even a casual party looks fun and fancy when you serve meals on colorful dishes with bold-colored napkins, set the table up with fresh flowers or bowls of fresh berries, and wear floral prints (both Annabella and I ended up wearing brown for this one, but we recommend going brighter)!
Did you know you can leave a photo reply? We would love to hear about your entertaining tips!
I love denim cut-offs in the city - but only when paired with a light top and blazer for a look that’s chic and put together. I cut these shorts from full-length jeans I was no longer using (make sure to cut them long enough so you can fold the hem; it’s a tad more sophisticated that way!). The top and blazer are H&M’s Conscious Collection. This is also the perfect look for a date night with your significant other: if your hubby loves you in a jeans and a tee, and you add nude pumps and a tailored top to cut-offs, that’s the sexiest compromise he could ever wish for!
- Viola, Helsinki
PS. This blazer is so chic, Annabella also bought one today from the H&M in Helsinki when she arrived. Photos to come soon.
Even J.Crew is going ethical: I adore this LemLem Mara tunic ($200, above), which would look chic with denim shorts or white skinny jeans on the town too. The emerald Amour Vert peace-silk kaftan ($169) is also chic and sexy. For a nautical twist, check out the wifey ($68) by Anglerox in black and white stripes; I’ll be getting one for my Finland vacation that starts next week.

** MISSQA is getting the Angelrox collection soon, so stay tuned! **
These bikinis and bathing suits are so sexy and stylish you wouldn’t even want to swim or suntan au natural (the other way to go all eco on the beach:-) The one-piece suits are also perfect for poolside, where I plan to spend the 4th of July (The US Independence Day; where will you be?). Come back tomorrow for exciting cover-ups options that are easy to throw on for the afternoon vegan barbecue.
To find out more about why we find Eco Swim is so sizzling, check out my post about their last collection, which I dared to model in the Hamptons for this blog.
However much I admire the current trend of alabaster skin, I feel I look so much better with a bit of a bronze glow. So, on a recent Whole Foods beauty haul, I snagged the essentials for the 4th of July celebrations - which I’m determined to attend with glowing, lightly tanned skin.
Here’s the recipe: prepare your skin today and tomorrow with Sunless Tanner by Alba to get the perfect color, apply a zinc-based SPF like the Kiss My Face sunscreen to keep your skin safe and keep up the glow with the Light Bronzing Formula Daily Moisturized by Alba. Below is my video reviews of other safe tanning products I love.
