STYLE: TOP TREND TO WEAR NOW
Love for prints reached on all time high on the fall 2012 runways, so we both decided to get the essential graphic dresses. We try not to get the exact same thing and usually that’s easy as Viola looks better in form-fitting clothes and I in pieces that slightly “hang” on me. But with this IvanaHelsinki collection made of bamboo exclusively for MISSQA, we couldn’t decide! After almost an hour of “you look better on this” and “no, you look much better in this,” we settled on the looks you see in the photos. What do you think? Do you ever buy the same thing as what your sister or best friend has?

TRAVEL: Helsinki - City Chic
The travel diary continues! Our two days in Helsinki included a ferry trip to the old Suomenlinna fortress, a tour at the classic 1920s House of Parliament (where my dear friend MP Jani Toivola met my husband, his parents and I exactly a week before all the MPs were called in to debate on the Spanish bailout), and seeing the modern design all over the city: Helsinki is currently the Design Capital of the Year.
The midsummer night sun was our companion when we strolled for after-sightseeing drinks (organic Austrian wine) at the Klaus K bar followed by a dinner at A21, where the chef created a custom locally-sourced vegan menu for me with cocktail pairings. More cocktails followed at Torni Ateljee Bar with a view of the city and the terrace of Grotesk was the perfect place to meet with old friends.
To take me from day to night, I wore an Ivana Helsinki printed jersey dress with nude ballerina flats and the H&M Conscious Collection blazer.

STYLE: Playing with Tribal Prints
When mixing and matching prints, I like to stick to classic color palettes and go wild with patterns. This way you can’t go wrong-an easy mistake when you play with wild colors. Different tribal-feeling prints in black, white and nude look chic and cool and all-white accessories add an unexpected, fresh twist to the outfit. A high pony completes the look.

You know those days when you think you have nothing to wear? This is why I always have few outfits that are suitable for any occasion. Jenny dress by IVANAhelsinki is one of them. I had my friend’s daughter’s baptism this weekend and after trying on multiple outfits, I opted for this one: it always works! I like to pair this chic and comfortable bamboo print dress with a beige blazer and Beyond Skin nude pumps with silver detail. This outfit can go from sophisticated to sexy, and for less leg, just add tights:-)
