TRAVEL: Family Garden Party A summer garden party in Finland means lake view, lots of coffee, homemade “korvapuusti,” and fresh strawberries. In honor of Annabella’s American husband’s very first visit to Finland, I hosted a family garden party for the couple and his parents and invited all of our siblings (there’s four of us) and their families. We began the evening with a vegan barbecue feast which I prepared with my husband, paired with biodynamic Austrian wine and followed deserts baked by our sister Miranda. Summer entertaining is one of my favorite things to do: even a casual party looks fun and fancy when you serve meals on colorful dishes with bold-colored napkins, set the table up with fresh flowers or bowls of fresh berries, and wear floral prints (both Annabella and I ended up wearing brown for this one, but we recommend going brighter)!    Did you know you can leave a photo reply?
