TRAVEL: Helsinki - City Chic  The travel diary continues! Our two days in Helsinki included a ferry trip to the old Suomenlinna fortress, a tour at the classic 1920s House of Parliament (where my dear friend MP Jani Toivola met my husband, his parents and I exactly a week before all the MPs were called in to debate on the Spanish bailout), and seeing the modern design all over the city: Helsinki is currently the Design Capital of the Year.  The midsummer night sun was our companion when we strolled for after-sightseeing drinks (organic Austrian wine) at the Klaus K bar followed by a dinner at A21, where the chef created a custom locally-sourced vegan menu for me with cocktail pairings. More cocktails followed at Torni Ateljee Bar with a view of the city and the terrace of Grotesk was the perfect place to meet with old friends.  To take me from day to night, I wore an Ivana Helsinki printed jersey dress with nude ballerina flats and the H&M Conscious Collection blazer.  - Annabella, New York
