THE FIND: Diamonds Are a Dog’s Best Friend
In our family, all of our furry friends are rescues. Viola’s dog Rancho and our mother’s dog Valto are street dogs from Spain (via an organization that finds homes for them), Viola’s cat was a Thailand street cat and my cat Frida was up for adoption at a Petco in New York. We love them!
Pets on the streets in Thailand and Spain have it bad, but in the US, many pets at shelters have only 72 hours to be adopted before they are destroyed. Now, diamonds are coming to the rescue!

If you are looking take your wardrobe up a notch, there’s no better investment than a couple of belts. A belt will make any outfit look more put together. I recently found all the Matt & Nat belts on sale at ASOS (you can browse all non-leather belts) and ordered everything still left in my size. A good show tailor can fix those that don’t fit. For summer, try skinnier belts in bold colors. You’ll start getting compliments on all your outfits, guaranteed:-)

THE FIND: Le Brigitte Bardot Bag by Lancel
Bardot launched this chic vegan line of totes and small handbags with the Parisian leather-goods company Lancel nearly two years ago and I’m not quite sure how I haven’t aquired one yet. They are stunning! On top of these colors, Lancel also has Le Brigitte Bardot in pink, baby blue, yellow and multiple other versions. Which color your favorite? I can’t decide!
THE FIND: Gift - Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund Peace Charm Bracelet
My hubby is celebrating his birthday next week and I couldn’t figure out what to give him. (Annabella’s hubby’s birthday was last week and she is still thinking what to give him!).
When I found this stylish but simple bracelet from Cred Jewellery, I knew I had stumbled upon the right thing. The piece has a 2 cm silver charm of a child, representing one of the children from the NMCF logo. Part of the sales support the building of a new children’s hospital in South Africa and part goes to the existing Nelson Mandela children’s hospital. I chose the black one as it resembles strength and authority. Which one is your favorite?
