STYLE: LONG TANK TOP & WIDE BRIM HAT FOR PUERTO RICO
My husband and I had planned a trip to an eco resort in Nicaragua for this past Labor Day past weekend, but the night before my DH (dear husband) could not find his passport. At 3am we gave up looking and decided to book a last minute trip to Puerto Rico instead, where you can travel with an American driver’s license. Luckily, our Nicaraguan resort allowed us to postpone the trip without penalty, so we are going there next month!
While I snoozed for a few hours, DH found an amazing boutique hotel, The Horned Dorset Primavera Hotel, on the shores of Rincon, managed to get us on an 8am flight to San Juan and rent a car for the two and a half hour drive to the other side of the island.
As soon as we landed, I changed into an Angelrox eco-friendly the dye tank dress (also ideal for layering in the fall), put on a fair-trade Pachacuti wide brim hat I recently discovered on sale at Club Monaco, and slipped on the vegan Beyond Skin metallic sandals. When we headed to the terrace bar for sunset mojitos, I carried all my essentials in the ikat print eco Matt & Nat clutch: organic Intelligent Nutrients mosquito repellent, all-natural Hourglass lipgloss, and Forever Living aloe vera lip balm and a mini notebook for ideas on all the up and coming travel posts I’m really excited to share!
